This is for me the most beautiful of all Kutani styles. It is often called "red detailled painting" or in Japanese "Saimitsu byo "as the artist is performing a very very detailled work. This style was developped around 1835 specialy by Idaya Hachiroemon and reach is peak in 1850. Several famous kilns produced such pieces such as Ono, Myamoto, Sano kilns... Even so these kilns were few kilometers apart each one had is own technique and the red colors are different. Some painters are still continuing today to produce scarcely pieces with the same technique, but the time required is so huge and the pieces are so rare that they reach an incredible price.
