UNIDENTIFIED ENGLISH MARKING

You have here a list of Names which have not been identified.
So far I am not in a position to connect clearly these marking with actual maker,
shop or period of use.
On the top part of the Menu you have the list of all English marking available on this site.
The pieces which are marked in English were produced for export only. English marking was required to export to US since middle of Meiji period (1871). But little pieces of that period can be found with English marking on Kutani ceramic. It looks like this practice rather developed from the 30's with mass production for export of low quality ceramic up to the 50's. (See postwar ceramic style).
This list is open to any comment and any information which could help me complete or correct it are welcome.
