.Takeda Shuhei 武田 秀平 1772-1844
Takeda Shuhei (武田 秀平) also called Minsan (民山) is born in 1772, he is the 11th son of the Samurai Himeji (姫路藩士). In 1814 he came back to the Han and learned under Lord Maeda. Then under Shikarahiro (主 ?広) he learned detailed painting. He was also very capable at sculpture and painting.
In 1822, he restarted the Kasugayama kiln which had stopped in 1818 and made mainly white pottery. He built later a nishiki kiln (錦窯) in his own house in the City of Satomi (里見町) and made gold paint on red design (赤細描金彩). After he started Hachirode style from Iidaya Hachirouemon.
In 1844, Takeda Shuhei (武田 秀平) died at the age of 72.
